Abstract:

The main objective of this study is to determine the future expectations of the Syrian refugees in the Adoleshent period who refuge to Turkey due to the Civil War in Syria. The participants of the study consist of individuals living in the Önder district of Ankara Altındağ and 100 Syrians. The research technique was used in the collection of research materials. The application form is made up of two stages. In the first section age, gender, family, education, profession, education level, income level, etc. Social-demographic information, in the second part, the survey form was used for the scale of future expectations for adolescents. In this study, taking into account the gender, age and socio-economic levels independent variables, the T-Test was used according to gender status; age, economic status, ethnic origin, education level, and other factors such as one-way ANOVA test. The prospects for Syrian refugees are at a medium level. According to the results of these assessments, the future expectations are significantly different according to the gender of the adult (p<0.05). It has been found that the expectations for the future do not show a significant difference according to the age of the adult (p>0.05). The research has found that the future expectations of young people are significantly different from their regular income, their expectations are fulfilled, their future expectations are hopeful, and their future expectations are good (p<0.05).
