The aim of this research is to evaluate the use of project based learning approach in web designing and programming lesson offered to11th grade in a Vocational High School in terms of students’ point of views. 24 Information Technology department students who were 11th grade, participated to the study. To gather data, semi-structured interview form was conducted. The students who participated to the research were interviewed by using five open ended questions. The data were analyzed through content analysis and the results were presented as frequency and percentages. Students mentioned that project based learning provides efficient learning and lets them participate in lessons actively and make their knowledge permanent in addition to enhance their motivation. They mostly complained about lack of theoretical knowledge, inadequacy of time and lack of control.
