Introduction: Humanity faced major changes in its eating patterns and body's composition, which directly affected the lifestyle and triggered nutrition-related diseases. This scenario has been driven, among other factors, mainly by the substitution of traditional food habits for consumption of ultra processed foods and fats. For evaluation of the intake, the Food Frequency Questionnaire (FFQ) was applied. To evaluate the nutritional status, we used the Body Mass Index (BMI) and Waist Circumference (CC). Results: An average caloric intake of 875.5 calories (± SD 501.0-1183.5) coming from ultra processed of individuals in the age range between 30-39 years old. There was a statistically significant difference (p <0.026) between genders, in the male sex 882.0kcal (± SD 406.1-1254.0). In relation to age (p <0.043) young people, aged between 20 and 29 years old, demonstrated a median daily calorie intake. Men consume significantly higher saturated fats (p <0.021). In relation to nutritional status, it was observed that 66.7% of the sample had an excess of weight. Conclusion: Ultra Processed products and saturated fats presented expressive participation in the diet of this population.
