The mythological plot of the "Chapter where Basat kills Cyclopes" is very old. This plot is based on the motive of Ay Khatun, who became pregnant through the ray of a wolf in the epos "Oguz Khagan", and the motive of Basat's killing of Cyclopes influenced the formation of the plot of murdering of Kiat by Oghuz. Primitive beliefs such as animism, fetishism, totemism, and anthropomorphism, as well as worldviews before the Heavenly God (Goy Tanri) and other religious ideas, were reflected in the boy. Like the Bozgurd, Basat descended to Earth in the form of a yellow ray (Sun) with the help of the Tree God (Aghaj Tanri), and was created from the Earth. The history of the myth of Basat and Cyclopes dates back to ancient times. The period of this ancient times is related to the degenerative time. Basat and Cyclopes were formed in the mythological consciousness as heroes of myth, and anthropomorphized against in the background of the struggle of the Good and Evil. In very ancient times, Basat and the great monster appeared in the first creation as a force of the same kind, and the first struggle between them remained in the imagination of the ancient people in the form of the struggle between the Evil and Evil. These legends are mostly involved in the formation of the "Chapter where Basat kills Cyclopes". Indeed, the negative characters of the Fairy Girl (Pari Gyz), Yellow Shepherd (Sary Choban) and Cyclopes are added to these legends. But in the myth, the Fairy Girl and the Yellow Shepherd are unnecessary, because in the early imaginations there was no concept of sexual intercourse, and Cyclopes was given birth by the Evil. Therefore, it can be said that the struggle between Basat and Cyclopes has several layers.
