Kıraat ilminde Mısır tariki olarak bilinen eğitim metodunun kurucusu olarak kabul edilen Ali b. Süleyman el-Mansûrî (ö. 1134/1721) İslamî İlimlerin farklı dallarında özellikle kıraat ilmi alanında eserler kaleme almış önemli bir ilim adamıdır. Ali el-Mansûrî’nin sahip olduğu ilmi birikimi ve yetiştirdiği talebelerinin yanında Tahrîru’t-turuk ve’r-rivâyât min tarîki Tayyibeti’n-neşr isimli eseri kıraat alanında ve tahrîrat geleneğinde önemli konuma sahiptir. Kırâat ilminde tahrîrat konusu, imamların râvilerinden sonra gelen ve kıraat terminolojisinde “tarîk” diye isimlendirilen senet zincirlerinin, kıraat ilminin kaynak eserlerine müracaat edilerek sahih ve zayıflığının incelenmesi çalışmalarıdır. Bu inceleme esnasında kıraat rivâyetlerinin telfîk gibi bir hatadan korunması ile caiz ve caiz olmayan kırâatlerin ortaya çıkarılması da sağlanmış olur. Kıraat ilim tarihinde tahrirat konusuna eserlerinde yer veren İbnü’l-Cezeri gibi Ali el-Mansûrî de tahrîrat geleneğini devem ettiren isimlerdendir.
