In this paper, the author examines different dimensions of theological studies separately, which are relevant to the academics working in the field of theology, sociology and political studies, as a social change matter. He, mainly, approaches the issue by asking questions and attempting to build a model of sociology of knowledge. Studying theology as a subject has its own difficulties because of its epistemological basis. Another difficulty is the heaviness of Marxist paradigm in change and religion in sociology. For theologians, one of the main problems is being under constant pressure of the change. The tension between the religious jargon and theological engineering that is expected from the theologians is due to this pressure.
