Yusuf is a child whose parents were murdered by bandits and was adopted by the district governor. In the work, Yusuf's struggle with himself and his environment is explained, especially the conflicts that the district governor had in his family. The colors used in the novel are a reflection of Yusuf's struggle for survival. The yellow color is used to express those who are sick and weak from working in the novel, while red is used to express Yusuf's anger.
