The increase in the number of qualified people is directly proportional to the importance that the country attaches to education programs and education system. One of the important steps to be taken in order to achieve the objectives of the training program is to act in accordance with the teaching strategies, methods and techniques prepared for that training program. In this study, the opinions of secondary school teachers about teaching strategies, methods and techniques were examined. This research is a mixed method study in which both quantitative and qualitative research is conducted together. The sample of the study was determined from 12 schools out of 32 schools in three educational districts in Aydın. Turkish teachers (107), Math teachers (100), Science and Technology teachers (84) and English teachers (89) working in these schools formed the sample of the study (n=380). Research-related questionnaire was used to collect data, which consists of four sections. In addition, 4 Open-ended questions developed by the researcher and semi-structured interview form was used. In the research of statistical techniques in the analysis of quantitative data percentage, frequency, Mann-Whitney u test and kruskal-Wallis test was used. Descriptive analysis method with qualitative data of the study were obtained. In conclusion, it is found that most teachers use lecture, question and answer, brainstorming, problem solving, case studies and discussions. Depending on the findings, various suggestions are presented.
