SINIF ÖĞRETMENLERİNİN ELEŞTİREL VE YARATICI DÜŞÜNME EĞİLİMLERİ ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİ

Abstract:

Çalışmanın amacı sınıf öğretmenlerinin eleştirel ve yaratıcı düşünme eğilimleri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Bu araştırmada nicel araştırma modellerinden korelasyonel araştırma modelinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Gaziosmanpaşa İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğüne bağlı resmi ilkokul kurumlarındaki toplam 764 sınıf öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Evrenin tamamına ulaşılamayacağından örneklem alma yoluna gidilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemi basit tesadüfi örneklem yolu ile belirlenen 391 sınıf öğretmeninden oluşmaktadır. Verilerin toplanmasında Şen (2014) tarafından geliştirilen “UF/EMI Eleştirel Düşünme Eğilimleri Ölçeği’’ ile Özgenel ve Çetin (2017) tarafından geliştirilen “Marmara Yaratıcı Düşünme Eğilimleri Ölçeği’’ kullanılmıştır. Öncelikle ölçekler ile alt boyutlarının normallik dağılımlarının incelemesi yapılmıştır. Ulaşılan neticeler ışığında verilerin analize yönelik normal dağılım ön kabulü doğrultusunda istatistiksel yöntemler kullanılmıştır. Araştırma grubu içerisinde bulunan sınıf öğretmenlerin demografik bilgileri frekans ve yüzde dağılımları çıkarılmıştır. Birinci ve ikinci alt problem için ölçeklerinin aritmetik ortalama ve standart sapma puanlarının hesaplaması yapılmıştır. Üçüncü alt problem için sınıf öğretmenlerin eleştirel ve yaratıcı düşünme eğilimlerinin arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi amacıyla korelasyon analizi tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda sınıf öğretmenlerinin eleştirel düşünme eğilimlerinin tüm ölçek boyutlarında “yüksek” olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin yaratıcı düşünme eğlimlerinin “yüksek” düzeyde olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Sınıf öğretmenlerinin eleştirel ve yaratıcı düşünme eğilimleri arasında pozitif yönlü orta düzeyde bir ilişki bulunmuştur.

The purpose of the study is to study the relationship between classmates’ critical and creative thinking trends. In this study, a correlational research model has been used from quantum research models. The universe of research is composed of a total of 764 class teachers in the official primary school institutions associated with the National Education Directorate of the province of Gaziosmanpaşa. It is not possible to find the whole universe in an example. The sample of the study consists of 391 class teachers identified by a simple random sample method. The data collection has been used by the "UF/EMI Critical Thought Trends Scale" developed by Shen (2014) and the "Marmara Creative Thought Trends Scale" developed by Original and Hard (2017) and the "UF/EMI Critical Thought Trends Scale". First, the scale and the normal distribution of the lower dimensions were studied. In light of the findings, statistical methods have been used in accordance with the normal distribution of data for analysis. The demographic information of classmates within the research group has been extracted by the frequency and percentage distribution. For the first and second subproblem, the scale’s arithmetic average and standard deviation points were calculated. For the third subproblem, the correlation analysis technique has been used to determine the relationship between the critical and creative thinking trends of classmates. The research finds that classmates’ critical thinking tendencies are “high” in all scale dimensions. The conclusion has been achieved is that the creative thinking tendencies of classmates are at a "high" level. A positive-level middle-level relationship has been found between the critical and creative thinking trends of class teachers.

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between classroom teachers' critical and creative thinking tendencies. In this study, correlation method was used from Quantitative Research models. The universe of the research is 764 primary school teachers in official primary schools affiliated to Gaziosmanpaşa District Directorate of National Education. Since the universe cannot be reached, sampling has been done. The sample of the research consists of simple 391 primary school teachers. "UF / EMI Critical Thinking Tendency Scale" by Şen (2014) and "Marmara Creative Thinking Tendency Scale" by Özgenel and Çetin (2017) was used. The priority is to examine the normality distributions of scales and sub-dimensions. In the light of the results achieved, it has used alternative methods for the normal distribution assumption for analysis. In the research group, frequency distributions and also percentage distributions were extracted of the statistical information of the teachers. Arithmetic mean and standard deviation marks were computed for the first and second sub problems of the scales. For the third sub-problem, the correlation analysis technique was used to find out the relationship between the critical thinking and creative thinking tendencies of the primary school teachers. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the critical thinking tendencies of the classroom teachers were “high” in all scale dimensions. It is concluded that the creative thinking skills of classroom teachers are at “high” level in all scale dimensions. A moderately positive correlation was found between the critical and creative thinking tendencies of the primary school teachers.
