In terms of knowledge and technology many new technologies and methods have been introduced in the field of earth sciences in recent years. One of these is geographic information systems (GIS). GIS is a program created for collection, storage, model creation and analysis of graphic and non-graphic geographic datas. GIS enables creation of individual maps instead of constant, two-dimensional and traditional maps and they can be combined as graphics, databases and multi-media. 3D modelling and analysis are two important features of GIS. The creation of 3D models gives opportunity of using topologic, geologic and hidrographic applications and making surface analyses such as profiling and determining field of view with the help of slope, aspect and relief maps. Generally, it is an unavoidable fact that the maps created with GIS and 3D modelling will prove themselves in the world of maps in terms of their features
