Toplumların geçmişten günümüze kadar oluşturdukları düzen içerisindeki en büyük güçlerinden birisi de medeniyet kavramıdır. Bu kavram, yaratmış olduğu pek çok noktada ürettiği değer mekanizmalarıyla anlam kazanarak ortaya çok sayıda kültürel bileşenler ortaya çıkarmış ve bu bağlamda toplumların ilerlemesinde aktif olarak rol oynamıştır. Kültürel ögelerin üretmiş olduğu değerlerin başında da çok eski dönemlerden günümüze kadar gelen çeşmeler de yaşayan en büyük değer hazinelerinin başında pek çok mekânda bulunduğu yeri güzelleştiren bir kültür ve medeniyet sembolleri olarak karşımıza çıkan kentsel donatılar arasındadır. Bu çalışmada Ankara temelinde özelleştirilen Osmanlı döneminden günümüze kadar kalabilmiş nadir bazı çeşmeler üzerinde halihazırda bulunan ender kaynaklardan da yararlanılarak bir saha araştırması yapılmış ve çeşmelere ait çeşitli bireysel ve disiplinlerarası bağlamda sanatsal uygulamalar üretilmiş, güncel malzeme seçkileriyle desteklenmiştir. Bu çalışmalardaki amaç bir medeniyet ve kent imgesi olarak çeşmelerin gelecek kuşaklara aktarılmasında, bir köprü görevi olmasında disiplinlerarası sanat uygulamalarıyla bir bakıma farkındalık oluşturmak olup, bu bağlamda çeşmelere ait motifler, yapısal özellikler ve bunlara bağlı yapısal argümanların sanatsal biçimi ön plana çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır.
One of the greatest powers in the order that societies have formed from the past to the present is the concept of civilization. This concept has revealed a lot of cultural components by gaining meaning with the value mechanisms it produces in many points it has created, and in this context has played an active role in the progress of societies. In the beginning of the values produced by cultural objects, the rivers from the very ancient periods to the present day are also among the urban equipment that comes to us as symbols of culture and civilization that make the place in many places beautiful in the beginning of the living greatest treasures of value. In this study, a field research was carried out using the rare resources already found on some of the rares that could remain from the Ottoman period to the present day, and a variety of individual and interdisciplinary contexts of the rivers were produced with artistic applications, supported by current material choices. The objective of these studies is to create awareness in a way with interdisciplinary art practices in the transition of the bridges to future generations as a civilization and city image, and in this context the motives, structural characteristics and the artistic form of the structural arguments associated with them have been put to the forefront.
