Abstract:

During the period of the Republic of Turkey, significant developments have occurred in the mining sector. The developments in this area have been studied with technical dimensions, mainly addressed by mining engineers, geological engineers and economists. In later times, historians also began to work on the subject. The details of the subject are revealed in the light of the archive documents in the master's, doctoral theses and other works. The Turkish Grand National Assembly, which is not much used in historical work, has often expressed views on mining in talks by its members during budget talks. We also in this article, in order to contribute to the previous work, scan the speeches recorded in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Zabıt Cerîdesi and confirmed the reflections of the topic in the daily life. Thus, in the technical field, in addition to the information produced in the academic field, the information that concerns daily life is also given to literature.
