Başka insanların tarafından ait olma ihtiyacının karşılanmaması ve kabul görmemek sosyal yaşamda karşımıza çıkan bir durumdur. Reddedilme, yok sayılma, görmezden gelinme kavramlarını içinde olan “sosyal dışlanma” madde kullanan ergenlerin üzerinde bir dizi duygusal, davranışsal, fizyolojik ve bilişsel etkiye yol açmaktadır. İnsanlar sosyal varlıklardır ve her birey özellikle ergenler bir grubun üyesi olduğunu bilmek isterler. Sağlıklı bir uyum yapabilmek için insanlar birbirlerine duygularını, isteklerini, düşüncelerini iletebilmeleri önemlidir. Madde kullanan ergenler için sağlıklı sosyal ilişkiler kurmak ve devam ettirmede zorluklar olabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada madde kullanan ergenlerde sosyal dışlanma yaşantılarının ve sosyal ihtiyaçlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. İlişkisel modelde planlanan araştırmaya Adana İl merkezi Seyhan ilçesinde yaşayan, 16-21 yaş arasında olan 102 ergen dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmada ergen ve ailesi hakkında bilgileri içeren Genel Bilgi Formu; ergenlerin sosyal dışlanma yaşantılarının değerlendirmek için Ergenler İçin Sosyal Dışlanma Ölçeği, sosyal ihtiyaçlarının belirlemek için Sosyal Provizyon Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre, madde kullanan ergenlerin cinsiyet, yaş, sigara ve alkol kullanma durumu, sigara ve alkole başlama yaşı ile aile tiplerine göre Sosyal Dışlanma Ölçeği ve Sosyal Provizyon Ölçeği arasında anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur. Aynı zamanda Sosyal Dışlanma Ölçeği ile Sosyal Provizyon Ölçeği arasında anlamlı ilişki saptanmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara dayanarak, ailelere, eğitimcilere, araştırmacılara ve topluma yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.

Social exclusion, which includes the concepts of rejection, neglect and being ignored, causes a series of emotional, behavioral, physiological and cognitive effects on adolescents who use substances. Humans are social beings and every individual, especially adolescents, wants to know that they are a member of a group. In order to achieve a healthy harmony, it is important for people to be able to communicate their feelings, wishes and thoughts to each other. There may be difficulties in establishing and maintaining healthy social relationships for adolescents who use substances. The aim of this study is to investigate the social exclusion experiences and social needs of adolescents who use substance. In this study, which was planned in the relational model, 102 adolescents between the ages of 16-21 living in the Seyhan district of Adana city center were included. The research includes a General Information Form, which includes information about the adolescent and his family; The Social Exclusion Scale for Adolescents, used to evaluate the social exclusion experiences of adolescents, and the Social Provisioning Scale used to determine their social needs. According to the results, a significant difference was found between the Social Exclusion Scale and Social Provision Scale according to gender, age, smoking and alcohol use status, age of starting smoking and alcohol uses and family types of adolescents who use substances. At the same time, there was a significant relationship between the Social Exclusion Scale and the Social Provision Scale. Based on the findings obtained from the research, suggestions were made to families, educators, researchers and society.
