Abstract:

Melik Gazi Turbesi, located in a park in the center of Kırşehir, has a special place with front arrangement and decoration in the Anadolu Selçuklu architecture. The process in which the Anadolu Selçuklu policy is the most complex is built, the work, the book, the architecture and the decoration characteristics give clues about the period. Turbe has so far been studied in many publications in terms of front arrangement and decorations. The purpose of this study is to include new evaluations, focusing on the architectural characteristics of the structure and its decorative characteristics. The book of Turben has remained in the second plan in the publications until now and has not been sufficiently discussed. The examination evaluates the turbine with two different titles. First of all, the turbine building is examined. The work done and the contents of the book are discussed in more detail; the door is opened for new evaluations related to the structure. In the second headline, the turbine is considered to be linked to the turbine 50 m north of the Lale Cami and once located next to the turbine with the Melik Gazi Medresesi. These three structures are being discussed together and they are seeking answers to the questions that could be part of a building community. The research results in new findings on the construction history and structure of the Melik Gazi Turbesi and new assessments on the connections between the Lale Cami and Melik Gazi Medresesi around it. In addition, the contributions made by Melik Muzafferuddin to the city, who signed the most important construction activities of the Turkish period in Kırşehir, are also remarkable.
