In this study; The analysis of the effects of the 2008 financial crisis on the fund flow statements of the construction sector was examined. The consolidated fund flow tables between the years of 2005 and 2011 In the construction sector were analyzed before and after the crisis and the effects of the crisis were investigated. The 2008 financial crisis deeply shook the world economy, especially of America (USA), and it seriously affected Turkey. Data of Central Bank of The Republic of Turkey (CBRT); From the financial statements of the companies operating in the construction sector between 2005 and 2011 (including the years 2005-2011); balance sheet, income statement, fund flow table and the ratios calculated from the financial statements and sector ratios tables were used in the analysis. The data were evaluated and interpreted considering the conditions of our country and construction sector. As a result of the study; It was found that the Turkish construction sector is one of the most affected and suffered sectors from the 2008 financial crisis. In conclusion; In the analysis of the data obtained from the consolidated tables of companies operating in the sector; especially in the crisis and post-crisis periods; In general, it was seen that short-term foreign resource utilization increased, companies' net working capital was insufficient, equity financing was insufficient, foreign resource costs increased, the majority of fixed assets were financed by own funds and financing expenses increased. The effects of the crisis continued in the years following the crisis.
