Career anxiety that affects students' career choice is associated with different variables. The aim of this study is to examine the relationships between high school students' self-confidence, career control locus and career anxiety. The study group of the research in which the relational survey model was used consists of 764 (F = 484, M = 280) students attending high school in Çarşamba district of Samsun. In the study, Personal Information Form, Career Anxiety Scale, Career Locus of Control Scale, Self-Confidence Scale were used as data collection tools. Pearson product moment correlation coefficient and multiple linear regression analysis techniques were used to analyze the data. Research results showed that self-confidence and career locus of control levels predict the career anxiety levels of the participants at a rate of 37%. In addition, it was determined that the sub-dimension of self-confidence, inner self-confidence predicts negatively, of the sub-dimensions of career locus of control internality, powerful others and helplessness variables significantly predicted career anxiety levels of high school students positively. It was observed that some of the results were similar to previous studies, while some of them differed.
