Barış Pınarı Harekâtı, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devlet’inin komşusu Suriye ile olan sınırında, bölgedeki terör yanlısı örgütlerin bertaraf edilmesi için Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’ın kararıyla gerçekleşen ve Türkiye’nin dış ve iç güvenliğinin sağlanması için ülke adına büyük önem taşıyan askeri bir harekâttır. Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’ın 9 Ekim 2019 tarihinde twitter hesabında yaptığı paylaşımda “Türk Silahlı Kuvvetlerimiz, Suriye Milli Ordusuyla birlikte Suriye’nin kuzeyinde PKK/YPG ve DEAŞ terör örgütlerine karşı Barış Pınarı Harekâtını başlatmıştır” ifadesiyle operasyonun başladığı duyurulmuştur. Suriye ile Türkiye’nin sınır bölgesinde terör faaliyetlerinde bulunan ve bu bölgeyi yaşanmaz hale getiren örgütlerden, sınırlarımızı ve vatandaşlarımızı korumak adına gerçekleştirilen bu operasyon sahada olduğu gibi uluslararası diplomaside de büyük bir zafere ulaşmıştır. Bu çalışma, Türkiye Cumhuriyet’i için çok önemli olan bu askeri başarıya yönelik, üniversite öğrencilerinin algılarını değerlendirmek adına gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden, anket tekniği uygulanarak, 2019-2020 eğitim öğretim yılı Güz döneminde Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli Üniversitesinde eğitim gören 6137 öğrencinin Barış Pınarı Harekâtına yönelik görüşleri alınmıştır.
The Peace Pine Movement is a military action on the border of the Turkish Republic State with neighboring Syria, which takes place by the decision of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to eliminate terrorist organizations in the region and which is of great importance on behalf of the country to ensure the external and internal security of Turkey. President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan posted on his Twitter account on October 9, 2019 that “Our Turkish Armed Forces, together with the Syrian National Army, have launched the Peace Pine Movement against PKK/YPG and ISIS terrorist organizations in northern Syria.” This operation, which was carried out in order to protect our borders and our citizens from organizations involved in terrorist activities in the border area of Syria and Turkey, has achieved a great victory in international diplomacy as well as in the field. This study was conducted in order to evaluate the perceptions of the university students towards this military success, which is very important for the Republic of Turkey. From the quantial research methods in the study, the application of the survey technique, the views of 6137 students who studied at the Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University in the 2019-2020 academic year were taken to the Peace Pinar Movement.
Peace Spring Operation is a military action which has great importance for Turkey to ensure internal and external security that occurs in the border between the Syrian Arab Republic and the Republic of Turkey realized by the decision of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in order to remove the pro-terrorist organizations in the region. In the post of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his Twitter account on October 2019 it was announced that the operation had launched within these words “Our Turkish Armed Forces together with the Syrian National Army, has launched Operation Peace Spring against PKK/YPG and DAESH terrorist organizations in northern Syria". The operation which aims to protect our citizens and border from the organizations that engage terrorist activity throughout the borderland between Syria and Turkey had achieved a great victory in international diplomacy as well as in the field. This study is conducted in the university students to evaluate their perception for this military success which is very important for the Republic of Turkey. In the study, the opinions of 6137 students studying at Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University during the fall semester of the 2019-2020 academic year were taken by using the quantitative research methods and applying the survey technique.
