Bu çalışmanın amacı 2020 yılı mart ayından bu yana yaşanan pandemi sebebi ile eğitimin uzaktan yapılmaya başlamasının öğrencilerin ve öğretmenlerin motivasyonları üzerine olan etkisini ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda farklı üniversitelerin uzaktan eğitim anket sonuçlarından elde edilen veriler değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. Yapılan anketler incelendiğinde uzaktan eğitimin öğrenci ve öğretmenin motivasyonunu olumsuz yönde etkilediği gözlemlenmiştir. Öğrenciler uzaktan eğitimin yüz yüze eğitime kıyasla daha verimsiz olduğunu, bunun sebeplerinin yetersiz teknolojik alt yapı ve bu sürece uyumun zorluğundan kaynakladığını göstermektedir. Çalışmada yapılan derlemelerin ve önerilerin, Türkiye’de uzaktan eğitimin öğrencilerin motivasyonu üzerindeki etkilerini daha iyi anlamaları için eğitim çalışanları ve düşünürlerine yol göstermesi beklenmektedir.
The aim of this study is to reveal the effect of the distance (online) education on the motivation of students and teachers due to the pandemic that has been experienced since March 2020. For this purpose, the results obtained from the distance education survey results of different universities were tried to be evaluated. When the surveys were examined, it was observed that distance education negatively affected the motivation of students and teachers. The students show that distance education is less efficient compared to face-to-face education, and the reasons for this are the inadequate technological infrastructure and the difficulty of adapting to this process. the compilation of recommendations made in the study and training employees, their impact on the motivation of students to better understand, and distance education in Turkey is expected to show the way to think.
