New values, which are outcome of the modernity and globalization, have transformed not only function of the cities but also cities and their identity. In this sense, cities started to become the place of the same identities by growing and diverging. This process is gaining visibility in the physical space of the cities, and then it became effective in the lifestyles, particularly including consumption patterns. In this study, from the main parameters determining the identity of the city, such as Urban physical Space and transformations of the process in the routines of daily life, particularly the consumption, these are examined: how this process works; how it gets together with which kind of tradition; it produces which kind of life meet, the reflection of the changes in the urban space to the urban identity in Konya. Also some differences of Konya which is not overlapping to the sociological theories are examined.
