Abstract:

Introduction: In early stages of breast cancer, in the evaluation of the lymphatic nodus, the routine lymphatic nodus has left the place of dissection to the sentinel lymphatic nodus dissection. With the biopsy of the Sentinel lymphatic nodes, the accidents are assessed with a high accuracy rate of the area, while complications associated with the dissection of accidents are not developed. We also studied our applications for the biopsy of the sentinel lymphatic nodes in early stage breast cancer in our study. Tools and Methods: Early stage breast cancer diagnosed in 2014 at the Suleyman Demirel University Medical School Hospital, 22 patients were subjected to a sentinal lymph nodus biopsy. Patients were examined retrospectively. The findings: 81.4 percent of the 22 patients who were submitted to the Sentinel lymph nodus biopsy were submitted to breast protection surgery, while 18.2 percent were submitted to simple mastectomy. With the biopsy of the Sentinel lymphatic nodes, the median 1.9 lymphatic nodes (min:1-max:3) were exhausted. The frozen study found that 81.8% of the lymphatic nodes were benign and 18.2% malign. In all of the malignant lymph nodes, the tumor is placed in the upper external square, with 75% of lymphovascular invasions present. These patients have been supplementary dissections. Metastatic lymphatic nodes were not detected in a patient except the sentinel lymphatic nodes. The result: in our study, a clinically negative acilla found in our clinic, all early stages of breast cancer were subjected to a synthetic lymphatic nodus biopsy.
