Çin’in Vuhan kentinde ortaya çıkan hayatın her alanını olduğu gibi spor dünyasını da olumsuz etkileyen yeni tip koronavirüs (Covıd-19) dünya genelinde spor organizasyonlarını durma noktasına getirmiştir. Bu düşüncelerden yola çıkarak çalışmamızda, Covıd-19 salgının spor endüstrisi, organizasyonları, kulüpleri, ekonomisi, sporcular ve futbol üzerindeki muhtemel etkilerinin tespit edilmesi ve incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, doküman analizi yöntemi ile incelenmiştir. Sonuç olarak; global düzeyde seyir gösteren Covıd-19 salgını, spor organizasyonlarının ve müsabakalarının iptal edilmeleri ya da ileri tarihlere ötelenmesi durumu spor paydaşları kapsamında negatif sosyal ve ekonomik etkilerin ortaya çıkmasına neden olmuştur. Bu bağlamda spor organizasyonlarının ve kurumların iptal edilen ve ileri tarihlere ötelenen müsabakalar sebebiyle belirsiz düzeyde ekonomik bir maliyetle yüzleşeceği tahmin edilmektedir. Söz konusu problemin çözümü açısından spor paydaşlarının birlikte çalışması gerektiği ifade edilebilir.
The new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) which affects the world of sports, as well as all areas of life that appear in the Chinese city of Vuhan, has brought sports organizations around the world to a stop. Our work, based on these ideas, aims to identify and study the potential effects of the Covid-19 epidemic on the sports industry, organizations, clubs, economy, athletes and football. The research was studied by the method of document analysis. As a result, the global spread of the Covid-19 epidemic, the cancellation or extension of sports organizations and competitions to advanced dates has caused negative social and economic impacts within the scope of sports stakeholders. In this context, it is expected that sports organizations and institutions will face uncertain economic costs due to competitions that are cancelled and predetermined. It can be said that in order to solve this problem, sports stakeholders should work together.
