With the sudden entry of the pandemic into the world agenda, all countries of the world have had to cope with a painful and equally uncertain process. This process has affected our business life as well as our private life, and it has changed my working style in an unexpected way. One of the most important of these changes is flexible working practices. It has also emerged as an important research topic how these flexible working practices applied to all public employees due to the necessity brought by the pandemic have an effect on the attitudes and behaviors of the employees. Based on this importance, this study is designed to determine the effect of the flexible working practice carried out during the Covid-19 pandemic process on the happiness and performance of the employee. The population and sample of the research consists of the administrative staff working at Hitit University. As a result of the findings, it was seen that the positive effect of the flexible working practice on the happiness and performance of the employees was statistically significant. Among the other results reached in the study are the satisfaction of the majority of the employees with the flexible working practices that came to the agenda with the pandemic and the general view that flexible working practices will continue after the pandemic.
