“İlahiyat Fakültesi Lisans Öğrencilerinin Arapça Eğitimi Hakkındaki Görüşleri” anketi, farklı bölgelerden 9 İlahiyat ve İslamî İlimler Fakültesinde 586 öğrenciye uygulandı. 14 adet seçenekli 1 adet de açık uçlu soru soruldu. Öğrencilerin çoğu, Arapça eğitimini yeterli görmemektedir. Motivasyon eksikliği, hazırlık sınıfından sonra Arapça derslerinin kesintiye uğraması ve derslerin gramer ve çeviri odaklı olması bu durumun başlıca sebeplerindendir. Öğrencilere göre hazırlık sınıfındaki yoğun Arapça eğitiminden sonra lisans aşamasında dört dönemde sadece ikişer saat Arapça dersinin olması, elde edilen kazanımların yok olmasına sebep olmaktadır. Arapça konuşma ve kendini ifade etmeyi Arapça bilmenin ölçütü olarak gören öğrenciler, en büyük eksikliğin bu konuda olduğunu belirtmektedir. Arapça bilmenin önemi konusunda daha yüksek bir bilince ihtiyaç olduğunu düşünen öğrencilerin hocalardan ve fakülteden en büyük beklentisi, destek, teşvik ve rehberliktir.
The survey "The Opinions of the Bachelor's Students on Arabic Education" was applied to 586 students from 9 different regions at the Faculty of Theology and Islamic Sciences. There were 14 options and 1 open end question. The majority of students do not see Arabic education sufficient. The lack of motivation, the interruption of Arabic lessons after the preparation class, and the grammatical and translation-focused lessons are the main reasons for this situation. According to students, having only two hours of Arabic lessons in four periods in the bachelor’s stage after intensive Arabic education in the preparation class causes the achieved achievements to disappear. Students who see Arabic speech and self-expression as a measure of knowledge of Arabic point out that the biggest lack is in this. The greatest expectation, support, encouragement and guidance from teachers and faculty for students who think they need a higher awareness of the importance of knowing Arabic is.
