In this study, the interplay between law and digital economy in the digital era which indispensibly affects all aspects of our lives has been discussed. Following an overview of the problems arising from the the regulation and the surveillance of digital markets and the developments in the area of using artificial intelligence in judicial activities and in particular in the legal practice; the decision of the Bundescartellamt (Competition Authority in Germany) regarding Facebook is discussed in order to point out the possible competition law issues which arise as a result of the use of big data in digital markets. Finally, at the end of these two headings, due to the common complaints and the need for international cooperation, the enforcement of Competition Law in several jurisdictions including Turkey at the Corona (Covid-19) pandemy process is and the future of competition law is also touched upon.
