Abstract:

Mısır’ın Fransızlar tarafından işgal edilmesiyle birlikte Arap dünyasında başlayan modern dönüşüm hayatın her alanında olduğu gibi edebiyat sahasında da birçok değişimi beraberinde getirmiştir. Duyguların ifade aracı olan şiir de bu etkilenmeyle geleneksel kalıbından çıkarılarak çağın insanının duygularını aktarabileceği modern yeni kalıplara dökülmeye başlanmıştır. İhya ekolü, Dîvân Grubu, Apollo ekolü gibi dönemin önemli edebiyatçılarının kurdukları topluluklar, Arap şiirinin modernleşme evresinde kilit rol oynayarak Arap şiirinin çağın ihtiyacını karşılayacak yeni bir forma girmesine katkı sağlamıştır. Bu makalede, iki dünya edebiyatını özellikle de İngiliz edebiyatını iyi özümseyerek Arap şiirinin yeni form kazanma sürecinde şiirin biçim ve içeriğinde bulunması gereken unsurları belli kriterler etrafında değerlendirmeye alan Dîvân Grubu’nun yaklaşımları ele alınacaktır.

Abstract:

The modern transformation, which began in the Arab world with the occupation of Egypt by the French, has brought many changes in the literary field as in all areas of life. Poetry, which is the means of expression of emotions, has also begun to go out of the traditional pattern with this influence to the modern new patterns in which the age can transmit the emotions of man. The communities founded by the important literaries of the time, such as the Echo, the Divan Group, the Apollo Echo, have contributed to the introduction of a new form of Arab poetry, playing a key role in the modernization stage of the Arab poetry. In this article, we will discuss the approaches of the Divan Group to assess the elements in the form and content of the poem in the process of obtaining a new form of Arab poetry and to absorb both world literature, especially English literature, around certain criteria.

With the French occupation of Egypt, the modern transformation that began in the Arab world has brought about many changes in the field of literature as well as in all areas of life. As a means of expression of emotions, poetry has been removed from its traditional form and poured into modern new patterns in which people of the age can convey their emotions. The ensembles established by the important writers of the period such as İhya School, Diwan Group and Apollo School, played a key role in the modernization phase of Arab poetry and contributed to the transformation of Arab poetry to a new form that would meet the needs of the era. In this article, the approaches of the Diwan Group, which assimilates the elements that should be in the form and content of the poem in the process of acquiring the new form of Arabic poetry by assimilating the two world literature, especially English literature, will be discussed.
