Abstract Films, soap operas, toys, advertisements, literature and other artifacts of visual culture, when elaborated based on racist values, confer violence on black existences. We are interested, therefore, in seeking artifacts that make positive the aesthetics and experiences characteristic of blackness. From this, this article aims to problematize the racist aspects linked to the education conferred by the visual culture addressed to childhoods. For this, in a first topic, it will be sustained in other academic elaborations, from which, they are based on the studies of the visual culture to highlight the educational and pedagogical aspects of the images. The discussion is directed to the meanings that are visually taught in terms of ethnic-racial relations. Then, the literary work Little Red Riding Hood (2016) by Daniel Wu will be analyzed. The visual characterization made about good and evil is considered unusual and the protagonism attributed to the black character is positive.
