Eğitimde teknoloji kullanımının yaygınlaşması ve pandemi sürecinde okullarda belirli bir süre hibrit eğitimin uygulanması, nitelikli bir eğitim için okulların yeterli teknolojik imkâna sahip olmalarını gerektirmektedir. Bu araştırmada okulların sahip olduğu teknolojik imkânlar konusunda öğretmen ve öğrencilerin görüşleri alınarak, yaşanılan problemleri ortaya koymak ve teknolojik imkânları artırma konusunda öneriler sunmak amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, nitel araştırma modeli kapsamında durum çalışması deseni kullanılarak hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılında Niğde ilinde farklı eğitim kademelerinde görev yapmakta olan 21 öğretmen ve öğrenim gören 14 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Araştırma grubu kolay ulaşılabilir örnekle yöntemine göre belirlenmiştir. Veri toplama araçları olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ve kişisel bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Veriler, içerik analizi yöntemine göre incelenmiştir. Sonuçlara göre öğretmen ve öğrencilerin okullardaki teknolojik imkânlar hakkındaki genel görüşleri: donanım-yazılım ve alt yapı sorunlarının yoğunlukta olduğu, bu imkânların eğitimdeki rolünün kolaylaştırıcı ve faydalı olarak görüldüğü yönündedir. Halen teknoloji laboratuvarı olmayan okulların var olduğu, laboratuvarı olan okullarda ise mevcut araç ve gereçlerin yetersiz olduğu, teknolojik gelişmelere uygun olarak yenilenmediği belirtilmiştir. Okullarda ortak kullanım alanları olan (kütüphane, yemekhane, konferans salonu vb.) mekânlarda var olan teknolojik donanımların gelişmelere uygun olarak yenilenmesi gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Eğitim yazılımlarının içeriklerinin zengin olmadığı ve düzenli aralıklarla güncellenmediği belirlenmiştir. Okullardaki teknolojik imkânların arttırılması yönündeki genel öneriler ise yönetimsel ve teknik sorunların çözümlenmesi olarak belirtilmiştir.
The widespread use of technology in education and the application of hybrid education in schools for a certain period of time during the pandemic require schools to have sufficient technological facilities for a qualified education. In this research, it is aimed to reveal the problems experienced and to offer suggestions on increasing the technological opportunities by taking the opinions of teachers and students about the technological opportunities of the schools. The research was prepared by using the case study design within the scope of the qualitative research model. The study group of the research consists of 21 teachers and 14 students studying at different levels in the province of Niğde in the 2021-2022 academic year. The research group was determined according to the easily accessible sample method. Semi-structured interview form and personal information form were used as data collection tools. The data were analyzed according to the content analysis method. According to the results; General opinions of teachers and students about technological facilities in schools are that hardware-software and infrastructure problems are intense and their role in education is seen as facilitating and beneficial. It has been stated that there are still schools that do not have technology laboratories, and that the existing tools and equipment in schools that do have laboratories are insufficient and are not renewed in accordance with technological developments. It has been concluded that the technological equipment existing in the places with common use areas (library, cafeteria, conference hall, etc.) in schools should be renewed in accordance with the developments. It has been determined that the content of the educational software is not rich and is not updated regularly. General suggestions to increase technological opportunities in schools are stated as solving administrative and technical problems.
