The Calcolitic Age is a period in Anatolia that can be traced between 6000-3000 years BC. According to the word's origin, "khalkos" in the ancient Greek language: baker, "lithos": the combination of stone words forms the meaning of baker. This name was given in the Calcolic Age because of the beginning of the use of stone tools as well as mines. The most important of the archaeological settlements in Malta is Arslantepe. The archaeological findings of Arslantepe, which were addressed in the uninterrupted and chronological order throughout the late Calcoltic, First-Mid-Tunch and Iron Age, are qualified to show that settlement throughout this long period of time plays an important role in the political life and cultural development of the region and is an important center. As a result of the excavations in Arslantepe for more than fifty years, the cultural layers of Arslantepe were largely discovered by the Italian excavation team. During these studies, the Ubeyd and Halaf Period rubbishes show that Arslantepe has definitely been exhausted at least since the 6th millennium BC. A building located in the 6A layer, which represents the period between 3350 and 3000 BC, makes Arslantepe very important in terms of being the oldest example of the palace discovered in the Middle East. This building is a large palace complex with temples, warehouses, administrative sections, gardens and corridor and covers almost the entire hole. This structure is proof that Arslantepe has a very important place in the Calcolite Age in terms of the Anadolu and Mezopotamia cultures.
