Abstract:

Understanding the importance of the economy as a component of power, states have prioritized economic development in their agendas. Although a more prosperous life has been achieved with the increasing production as a result of the Industrial Revolution, this development has not been adequate and progress has been made towards achieving greater gains over time. As a result of the intertwining of economic developments with technological developments, a global market emerged and the concept of border in commercial activities gradually began to disappear. However, economic development did not always consistently produce the desired results. It is known that there are frequent periods of crises, in which economic problems arise throughout the world. II. The negative economic conditions following World War II have led countries to seek relief from these constantly arising crises. This search for remedy brought about the restructuring of the capitalist system, which was deemed suitable as a familiar system from the past. These efforts to revive the old system have resulted in the emergence of a structure called “new world order”, “new world system” or “new world order” which has been subject wide criticism due to its eventual results. Goal: The aim of the study is to reveal the global effects of the structure expressed as the "new world order" and the change of power balances in the world in this context. Method: In line with the purpose of this study, the issues included in similar literature were examined and brought together as a comprehensive review. Findings: Although the new world order provides certain solutions or relief in terms of economic crises, it has the characteristic of being the main source of certain problems. As a matter of fact, the events that developed with the new world order practices, especially the problems of the employees, resulted in the economic crisis turning into a social crisis. Originality: The study will contribute to the literature since the issues related to the subject are handled together in sociological terms.
