Children’s books should also be used beside the other important institutions such as school and family in order to strengthen the values education. Books, which summarize the life and present an ideal world to students, help children to have a better and qualified life by showing the truth and good with their contrasts. In this study, it was believed that children’s books should contribute to values education, therefore, it was aimed to determine help/helping each other/ helpfulness values in Fatih Erdoğan’s works in order to make solutions in terms of values education and deepen this issue. Fatih Erdoğan’s works, which are written for 6-14 years old children, were examined by using qualitative methods. While examining the works obtained from the press of which owner is the writer himself document analysis method was used. This analysis was done by reading the related works, carding and classifying them. At the end of the study, it was found that Fatih Erdoğan, who greatly contributes to Turkish Children Literature with his works, gives an important place to the value of helpfulness.
