Abstract:

Russian pressure and assimilation policies have significant consequences both in terms of the people of Azerbaijan and matbuat. The lights who are trying to declare their righteousness as a result of these activities and to raise awareness to the society have made an effort to create national awareness. The first Turkish newspaper with the foundation of the matbuat in Azerbaijan, Hasan Mr. Zerdabi, is one of the most important names that contributed to the process of simplification and nationalization in the language. This study discusses the struggle that Mr. Hasan Zerdabi, despite the Russian pressure, has made to bring out the Turkish joy. The role of the Ekinci newspaper he published in the awareness of the people, the brilliants who continue the Zerdabi tradition and their publications will be assessed.
