Abstract:

This study aims to identify the potential similarities and differences between the highest-ranking regions and the public services in Turkey, taking into account the indicators of socio-economic development. In the framework of the study, the public expenditure for 2018 was functionally addressed and the relevant variables were first applied multi-dimensional measurement analysis and aggregation analysis from multi-variable statistical methods. Then the socio-economic variables of those were addressed and multi-dimensional measurement analysis and aggregation analysis were used. The study continued with the assessment of the similarities and differences resulting from the practices carried out. The study found that the sociological and economic groups of the provinces and their public spending groups were not individual, but they gave close parallel results. However, some provinces are more socio-economically advanced while the public spending is lower. Some provinces have been found to have a lower socioeconomic level of development than others, while public expenditure is higher.
