Travmatik deneyimler kişilerin hayatını derinden etkileyebilmekte ve yaşama dair işlevselliğini olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Meydana gelen travma kişideki stres seviyesini arttırarak psikolojik ve fizyolojik yapı taşlarına zedeleyici etki yaratabilmektedir. Ortaya çıkan her etki kişiden kişiye değişim gösterse de uyarılma, tetiklenme, tansiyon, nefes darlığı fiziksel etkileri; kaygı, anksiyete, stres ve depresyon ise psikolojik sonuçlarından birkaçıdır. Travmalar insanlar için kaçınılmaz ve hayatın bir parçası olması sebebiyle, devam eden travmalar kişide akut ve travma sonrası stres bozukluğuna evrilebilmektedir. Kişiler hayat boyu yaşamış olduğu deneyimleri ile ansızın yüzleşerek kronikleşen bir döngüye girebilmektedir. Kimi zaman kişiler sahip oldukları hastalıklar ile mücadele ederken travmanın bir parçası olduğunu düşünmemektedirler. Literatürün incelenmesi ışığında psikolojik ve fizyolojik yansımalara dair güçlü kanıtlara ulaşılmaktadır.
Traumatic experiences can deeply affect people’s lives and negatively affect their functionality of life. The trauma that occurs can increase the level of stress in a person and create a disturbing effect on the psychological and physiological structural stones. Every effect that occurs varies from person to person, but the physical effects of stimulation, triggering, blood pressure, breathing difficulty; anxiety, anxiety, stress and depression are some of the psychological consequences. Trauma is inevitable for people and because it is part of life, continuing trauma can evolve into an acute and posttraumatic stress disorder in a person. People can suddenly encounter their lifetime experiences and enter a chronic cycle. Sometimes people don’t think it’s part of the trauma while fighting the diseases they have. In the light of the study of literature, strong evidence of psychological and physiological reflections is achieved.
