Primary malignant mesothelioma is a rare tumor which derived from cells lining peritoneum and mesenchymal components. In 70% of the cases, asbestos exposure is present. Risk factors for mesothelioma varies according to the type of asbestos fiber, duration and intensity of exposure. In ultrasonography and CT, masses in the form of plaques involving omentum, mesenterium and peritoneum are observed as well as acid. Thickening of the omentum is a finding of USG and abdominal CT in malignant peritoneal mesothelioma. Aproximately 25% of malignant mesothelioma cases are located peritoneally, mostly together with pleural mesotheliomas occurring earlier. In this article, we present two cases presenting malignant peritoneal mesothelioma diagnosis, since it is seen rarely.
