2000’li yılların başlarında “Playing for Change” ismi ile hayata geçirilen proje zaman içerisinde yaygınlaşarak farklı ülkelerde de görülmeye başlamıştır. Bu proje Türkiye’ye de yapımcı ve yönetmen Fırat Çavaş tarafından “Doğa İçin Çal” başlığıyla toplumsal farkındalık oluşturmak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Proje zaman içerisinde meslek grupları, kurumlar, dernekler vb. yapıların etkinlikleriyle de çeşitlenmiş ve son olarak Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı Öğretmen Yetiştirme ve Geliştirme Genel Müdürlüğü tarafından “Öğretmenler Türkiye İçin Söylüyor” ismi ile başlatılmıştır. Daha sonra proje “Öğretmenler Çocuklar İçin Söylüyor” adıyla güncellenmiştir. “Öğretmenler Çocuklar İçin Söylüyor” adlı projenin görünürlüğünü sağlamak, projede kullanılan işitsel ve görsel ögelerin kültürel bağlamlarla ilişkisini tespit amacıyla etnomüzikoloji disiplini içerisinde gerçekleştirilen bu çalışmada nitel ve nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden oluşan karma desen kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler tablo ve grafikler şeklinde görselleştirilerek yorumlanmıştır. Ülkemizde kimlik temsil etme düşüncesiyle yapılan bu projelerde seçilen eserlerin yörenin dokusunu, kokusunu, yörede müzik kimliğini oluşturan ve yörenin müzik kodlarında bulunan makamsal yapıyı, ritmik yapıyı, sözel yapıyı yansıtacak şekilde belirlendiği ve bu doğrultuda aranjesinin yapıldığı, projenin yapıldığı ilin kültürel ve coğrafi yapısına dikkat edilerek videolarının çekildiği projelerde ortaya çıkan sonuçlar analiz edilmiştir. Ayrıca çalışma sonuçlarında, öğretmenlerin projelere müzikal katkılarının yanında birçok öğretmenin alanı olmasa bile müzik teknolojileri bağlamında katkılarının olduğu ve birçok ilimizde Milli Eğitim Müdürlüklerine bağlı okullarda ses kayıt stüdyolarının olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
The project, introduced in the early 2000s under the name "Playing for Change", began to be seen in different countries over time. This project was also made to Turkey by producer and director Fırat Çavaş with the aim of creating social awareness with the title "Chall for Nature". In the course of the project, professional groups, institutions, associations, etc. It is also diversified with the activities of the structures and was finally launched by the Ministry of Education by the General Directorate of Teacher Education and Development with the name "Teachers Say for Turkey". The project was later updated under the title "Teachers Say for Children". To ensure the visibility of the project "Teachers Talk for Children" in this study carried out within the ethnomusicology discipline in order to identify the relationship of hearing and visual objects used in the project with cultural contexts, a mixed pattern consisting of qualitative and quantitative research methods has been used. The data obtained is interpreted by visualization in the form of tables and graphics. In our country, with the idea of representing identity in these projects, the textures of the place, the smell, the music identity in the place and the place's music codes are determined in a way that reflects the local structure, the rhythmic structure, the verbal structure and in this direction the request is made, the project is made, the cultural and geographical structure of the province, the results of the projects are analyzed and the videos are drawn. In addition, the results of the study have found that teachers have contributed in the context of music technologies, even if many teachers do not have the field of their musical contributions to the projects, and in many of our provinces there are audio recording studios in schools associated with the National Education Directorate.

Later, the project was updated with the name “Öğretmenler Çocuklar İçin Söylüyor.” In this study, which was carried out within the discipline of ethnomusicology, in order to ensure the visibility of the project called “Öğretmenler Çocuklar İçin Söylüyor” and to determine the relationship between the audio and visual elements used in the project and the cultural contexts, a mixed design consisting of qualitative and quantitative research methods was used. The data obtained were visualized and interpreted in the form of tables and graphs. In these projects, which were made with the idea of representing the identity in our country, the selected works were determined to reflect the texture, smell, the musical identity of the region and the makam structure in the music codes of the region, the rhythmic structure, the verbal structure, and the projects produced with the videos reflecting the cultural and geographical structure of the province where the project was made were analyzed. In addition, in the results of the study, it has been determined that besides the musical contributions of the teachers to the projects, many teachers have contributions in the context of music technologies even if they are not in their field, and that there are sound recording studios in schools affiliated to the National Education Directorates in many provinces.
