Bu çalışmanın amacı Türkiye’de 2016-2018 yılları arasında en çok seyirci sayısına ulaşmış Türk yapımı beşer filmin, yakın partner şiddeti frekanslarının içerik analizi yöntemiyle incelenmesidir. Araştırmacılar tarafından izlenen filmler sosyal, sözel, fiziksel, ekonomik, psikolojik, cinsel, sanal/dijital şiddet ve ısrarlı takip davranışı (stalking) açısından ele alınmıştır. Filmlerin çoğunda yakın partner şiddetine rastlanmış olup şiddeti uygulayan karakterlerin daha çok olumlu ve ana karakter olduğu, benzer şekilde şiddete maruz kalan karakterin de ana ve olumlu karakterler olduğu saptanmıştır. Başka bir deyişle şiddet, izleyici tarafından örnek alınma ihtimali yüksek olan karakterler tarafından gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın yakın partner şiddetinin yaygınlığının anlaşılması hem alan yazınına hem de bu konuda farkındalık yaratması açılarından topluma fayda sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
The aim of this study is to study the Turkish-made human film, which has reached the most audience in Turkey between 2016-2018 years, with the method of content analysis of the frequencies of close partner violence. The films watched by the researchers were discussed in terms of social, verbal, physical, economic, psychological, sexual, virtual/digital violence and constant follow-up behavior. Most of the films have found close partner violence, and the characters who use violence are more positive and main characters, and the characters who are similarly exposed to violence are also main and positive characters. In other words, violence is carried out by characters with a high probability of taking sample by the audience. This study is believed to be beneficial to the society in terms of understanding the spread of the violence of the close partner, both in terms of the field writing and the creation of awareness about this.
The purpose of this study was to examine the frequencies of the intimate partner violence scenes in fifteen movies, produced in Turkey between 2016 and 2018 and reached the highest number of audiences, by using content analysis. The movies watched by the researchers were analyzed regarding the social, verbal, physical, economic, psychological, sexual, digital violence and stalking behaviors. In most of the movies, intimate partner violence scenes were encountered, and it was determined that within those scenes, the perpetrators of the violence were generally positive and main characters, and similarly the victims were also positive and main characters. In other words, the violence was perpetrated by characters who are likely to be taken as an example by the audience. This study has implications for both understanding the prevalence of the intimate partner violence, and for the literature as well as for the raising an awareness in the society.
