With the privatization policies in the field of media in Turkey, media investors have come to the fore both in the field of journalism and in the television sector and in other media environments since the 1990s. These investors, who are far from the journalism profession and stepped into the media field with the status of businessmen, carried the media tools to holdings, bringing the concept of media ownership to a new dimension. Particularly this situation, which acts as a media boss with its political and commercial relations and thus directly affects the editorial structure, has made debatable the discourse of independent journalism. The Journalism without patronizer has emerged as a response to media bosses managing media tools as if running a company and it has began to make an impact in both traditional media and internet media. This study focuses on the position of bossless journalism in traditional media and content analysis method, which is among the qualitative analysis methods, was applied and it were examined national newspapers determined as samples. In this study, Aydınlık newspaper and Birgün newspaper are handled in this context and the evaluation has been made by focusing on the reflections of the aforementioned newspapers without a boss on their content.
