Dental tourism is an important sub-area of health tourism, offering different treatments and aesthetic practices to the international patients. The limited coverage of dental treatments and the high cost of these treatments, patients have to turn to destinations abroad. As the destinations started to invest in this area, the market started to turn into a competitive structure. Turkey is one of the destinations willing to get share from the market. It is important for enterprises operating in the field of dental tourism to determine the most suitable among the target market options. The aim of this study is to evaluate the potential of foreign residents in baby boomer cohort (BBG) living in Aydın, which is one of the target market options of the International Dent Care (IDC.) The data were collected through document analysis and semi-structured interviews. Content analysis and the analytical hierarchy process method were utilized for analyses. Results showed that patients in BPG can be considered as a potential target market for IDC. IDC has relative advantages from other private clinics in terms of trust, price, language proficiency and expertise. The research may shed light on the possible directions of future research in the field of dental tourism.
