Abstract:

The financing opportunities they offer to and individuals, the spread of their branches across the country and the preference that savings holders have at the point of savings as a result of their habits, have made the deposit banks more active among other financial institutions. The study of the performance of deposit banks is a topic that is concerned by bank management, bank stakeholders and analysts. The aim of this study is to examine the financial performance of the private capital deposits bank operating in the Turkish banking system. Multi-MOORA, a multi-criteria decision making technique, was used as an assessment method, and the assessment was conducted on the basis of the years 2015, 2016 and 2017. In the performance assessment, profitability, liquidity, active quality, capital adequacy, income and expenditure structural ratio are used. According to the results of the analysis, according to the chosen criteria, Akbank is a private capital deposit bank with the best financial performance over all the years discussed. In 2015 Anadolubank, in 2016 and 2017 Turkey Business Bank ranked second in its performance ranking.
