Introduction and Target: The purpose of this research, conducted in a defining and comparative type, is to compare the support and social self-capacity of nursing students and social sciences students. Methods and Requirements: The research was carried out with a total of 164 students who studied in the second class of the Faculty of Health Sciences of an university's Department of Nursing (n: 97) and the Department of Economics and Business (n: 67) of the Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences. The data collection has used the socio-demographic form of information, the Equatorial Support Scale and the Social Self-Consciousness Scale. RELATED: Nursing and Economics Administrative Sciences Students have a significant difference between Physical Assistance, Academic Assistance, Emotional Assistance Points and Scale Total Points (p<0.05), which are the sub-dimensions of the Associate Support Scale. The lower dimensions of the Associate Support Scale of Nursing students and the total score average are higher than the score average of the Economic Administrative Sciences students. There was no significant difference between the two groups of students in the social self-sufficiency scale. The associate support is higher in nursing students than students studying in social sciences, while the perception of social self-sufficiency in both groups is medium and does not vary according to students studying in different departments. This situation shows that both social self-sufficiency and co-support in university students are a field that needs to be supported and developed. Students’ problem-solving skills, academic success, adaptation to theoretical and practical courses and co-working support to enhance their professional adaptation, can be more benefited in both health sciences and social sciences.
