The aim of the study is to examine the relationship between organizational cynicism levels and organizational silence levels of tourism employees and to determine whether emotional intelligence levels have a moderator effect on the relationship between these two variables. The population of the research consists of tourism sector employees, and the sample consists of 245 employees working in hotels in Muğla province in 2019. In the study, the relationships between the variables were tested with multiple linear regression and hierarchical regression analysis methods. As a result of the research, significant relationships were obtained between organizational silence and dimensions of organizational cynicism, and between emotional intelligence and organizational cynicism dimensions. In addition, as a result of the study, the moderatoring effect of emotional intelligence on the relationship between organizational silence and organizational cynicism has been reached.
