Abstract:

According to their co-workers, the use of educational opportunities for individuals who need special education with mental and physical differences has become a topic that is increasingly focused on in our country. The coaching education that allows these individuals in the age of compulsory education to see education in the same environment as their relatives is a method applied in our country. The aim of this study is to identify the opinions and recommendations of classmates who are in the individual process of coaching. Research is a quality research. The work group consists of 12 class teachers working in the Ministry of National Education. In the selection of class teachers to participate in this study, the study was taken as a standard to have at least one coaching student in the classroom in which the study was conducted in the 2020-2021 educational year. The data is collected through the semi-configured interview technique and analyzed through the visual analysis method. The research has found that class teachers find themselves insufficient about the coaching training, that the physical possibilities of the classes under coaching training are insufficient and that the family support in the coaching training process is insufficient. As a result of these findings, it is proposed that classmates and families may be taught for the coaching process and that the physical environment of the coaching schools should be improved.
