Abstract:

In recent years, the field of public administration is changing and developing, as well as the topic of innovation is increasingly important and many studies on the subject are being carried out. It is clear that the theme of innovation has a positive impact on development in many dimensions. As it is possible to see the contribution of innovation in developed and developing countries around the world, it will also be possible to see the contribution of innovation in a particular country and at the regional or local levels of that country. In this study, the topic of local development was briefly discussed. In the framework of the topic of innovation, the basic theoretical information was tried to be included and the innovative examples appeared in the historical process were referred to. In the last part of the study, the work was also completed with various problems and solutions proposals in the context of local development and innovation relationships.
