Bu araştırmada, Bolu yöresi dilli kaval ezgilerinin yapısal olarak incelenmesi amaçlanmış olup, dilli kaval ailesi çalgılarından kromatik bir dizgeye sahip olan horlatmalı dilli kaval çeşidine odaklanılmıştır. Bu çerçevede ezgi, makam, ritim ve biçim unsurları araştırmanın temellendirildiği ana başlıklardır. Çalışmanın konusunu oluşturan Bolu yöresi horlatmalı dilli kaval ezgilerinin yapısı ve ezgi karakterlerinin belirlenmesi, Bolu yöresi dilli kaval icra geleneğine ilişkin müzikal birikimin ve yöresel kimliğin ortaya çıkartılması bakımından önem taşımaktadır. Araştırmada çeşitli kişisel ve kurumsal arşivlerden elde edilen ses ve görüntü kayıtları kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerden; Bolu ili sınırları içerisinde maksimum çeşitliliğin yansıtılması adına derlenen her alandan en az bir eser olması; kaynak kişi çeşitliliği göz önüne alınarak her kaynak kişiden en az bir eser bulunması; eserlerin yörenin karakteristik icra tavrını yansıtması; makam, ezgi ve ritim itibariyle çeşitlilik içermesi; notalara kaynaklık etmesi bakımından sağlıklı ses kayıtlarının olması gibi kriterler göz önüne alınarak toplamda 34 adet eser örneklem olarak be-lirlenmiştir. Bu çalışmada dizi ya da ayak kavramından ziyade, makam ve terkîb yapıları hakkında inceleme ve araştırmaları içeren bir makamsal yaklaşım (Hatipoğlu, 2021) kullanılmış, ezgilere ait makamsal adlandırmalar bu yaklaşım çerçevesinde tayin edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda Bolu yöresi dilli kaval ezgilerinin; en fazla yedi perdelik bir ses alanı içerisinde seyir ettiği, eserlerin horlatma sesleri içerisinde genellikle ilgili perde düzeninin en tiz sesi (karakte-ristik bitiş perdesi) ile sona erdiği, ezgisel hareketin büyük oranda ikili ve üçlü aralıklarla icra edilirken tavrın ortaya çıkardığı bir durum olarak dörtlü, beşli, altılı ve yedili aralıkların da kullanıldığı, süsleme unsuru olarak bağlı çarpma, üst ve alt mordan ile tril kullanıldığı, makamsal yapı olarak büyük çoğunluğun Çargâh (Birinci Nevi) özelliği gösterdiği, ritim bakımından çoğunluğunun 2/4 ve 4/4 gibi ölçülerde icra edildiği, biçimsel olarak büyük çoğunluğunun “A+B+A” biçiminde tasarlandığı ve yarıya yakınının ise tek ya da iki bölümlü yapıda olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
In this study, the aim is to structurally study the Bolu region language caval spots, and the focus is on the varieties of caval spots that have a chromatic scope from the caval family spots. In this framework, the elements of aggression, authority, rhythm and shape are the main headlines on which the research is based. The subject of the study is the structure and the determination of the characteristics of the Bolu area curl and curl, the Bolu area curl is important in terms of the musical accumulation and local identity of the Bolu area curl performance tradition. The study used audio and image records obtained from various personal and corporate archives. In this study, it was aimed to examine structurally the dilli kaval melodies in the vicinity of Bolu and focused on the horlatmalı (a blowing technique) dilli kaval variety, which has a chromatic scale, one of the instruments of the dilli kaval family. In this framework, melody, makam, rhythm and form elements are the main topics on which the research is based. Determining the structure and melody characteristics of the horlatmalı dilli kaval melodies in the vicinity of Bolu, which is the subject of the study, is important in terms of revealing the musical accumulation and local identity of the Bolu region dilli kaval performance tradition. Audio and video recordings obtained from various personal and institutional archives were used in the research. From the data obtained; in order to reflect the maximum diversity within the borders of Bolu province, there should be at least one work from each region; taking into account the diversity of source persons, finding at least one work from each source person; the works reflect the characteristic performance style of the region; diversity in terms of makam, melody and rhythm; a total of 34 works were determined as samples, taking into account criteria such as the availability of sound recordings as a source for the notes. In this study, a makamic approach (Hatipoğlu, 2021) that includes investigations and researches about makam and terkîb structures, rather than the concept of scale or ayak, was used, and the makam nomenclature of the melodies were determined within the framework of this approach. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the dilli kaval melodies of the Bolu region perform their seyir (melodic progression) in a tessitura of maximum seven frets; Among the horlatma sounds, the pieces generally end with the highest pitch (characteristic ending pitch) of the relevant pitch scale; While the seyir is mostly performed in double and triple intervals, quartet, fifth, sixth and seventh intervals are also used as a situation revealed by the attitude; grace note, upper and lower mordant and trill were used as ornament elements; The majority of the makams show the characteristics of Çargâh (Birinci Nevî); in terms of rhythm, most of them are performed in measures such as 2/4 and 4/4, the majority of it was designed in the form of “A+B+A” in terms of form, and nearly half of them were in a single or two-part structure.
