The objective of this study is to investigate the factors affecting the fertility of married women who migrate and do not migrate in Turkey using the data of the Turkish Population and Health Research (TNSA) which was conducted by the Hacettepe University Institute of Population Studies in 2008 and 2013 with the counting data regression model. Dependent variables in the analysis, while the number of children married women have, independent variables are the age of the woman and the man, the sector they work, the educational conditions, the level of welfare of the household, the ethnic origin of the family, the age of the first marriage of the woman, the number of children killed, the number of abortions, the size of the household and the methods of birth control. According to the findings obtained from this study, in 2008, variables such as ethnic origin, the education level of women and men were important variables affecting fertility in non-immigrants, while in migrants, these variables had no significant impact on fertility. In 2013, the effects of variables on fertility were more than those in non-immigrants.
