Araştırmanın amacı: Erzurum İl Jandarma Komutanlığı Karargâhında görev yapan rütbeli personelin sağlıklı yaşamda ilk yardım ilkeleri ve farkındalık düzeylerinin tespit edilmesi ve proje kapsamında uygulanan eğitim sürecinin etkisinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırma 2019 yılında Erzurum İl Jandarma Komutanlığı Karargâhında görev yapan 3’ü kadın ve 32’si erkek olmak üzere toplam 35 rütbeli personel üzerinde yapılmıştır. Uygulama yapılacak bireylere sınıf ortamında araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan sağlıklı yaşamda ilk yardım ilkeleri ve farkındalık düzeyini belirlemek üzere hazırlanan test uygulanmıştır, altı haftalık eğitim sürecinden sonra sağlıklı yaşamda ilk yardım ilkeleri ve farkındalık düzeyini belirlemek için ikici test sonucu değerleri alınmıştır. İlk yardım projesine katılan personelin proje öncesinde ve proje sonrasında almış oldukları eğitimin etkisini belirlemek için Paired Samples t testi, yaş ve görev süreleri ile sağlıklı yaşamda ilk yardım ilkeleri bilgi düzeyi arasındaki ön test ve son test arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemek için korelasyon analiz testi uygulanmıştır. Proje öncesi ve sonrası alınan puanlar arasındaki farklılık p; ,050 anlamlılık düzeyine göre yorumlanmıştır. Sonuç olarak ilk yardım projesi sürecinde yapılan eğitimin personelim ilk yardım konusunda bilgilendirmeleri düzeyi üzerinde olumlu bir etkisi olduğu sonucunu ortaya çıkarmıştır. İlk yardım projesine katılan personelin son test değerlerinde yaş ve görev süreleri arttıkça paralel olarak sağlıklı yaşamda ilk yardım ilkeleri bilgi düzeyinin de arttığı sonucu bulunmuştur. Özellikle askeri, emniyet ve sağlık gibi insanlarla yakın ilişki içinde olan kurumlarında görev yapan personelin ilk yardım uygulama durumlarıyla karşılaştıklarından dolayı sağlıklı yaşam ve ilk yardım bilgilendirme gibi benzeri eğitimlerin yapılması gerekliliği önem arz etmektedir.
The purpose of the research is to identify the principles of first aid and level of awareness in healthy life of staff working at the headquarters of the Erzurum Provincial Guard Command and to determine the impact of the training process implemented within the framework of the project. The study was conducted in 2019 on a total of 35 staff, including 3 women and 32 men, who served at the headquarters of the Erzurum Provincial Jandarma Command. The test was applied to the individuals to be applied to determine the principles of first aid and the level of awareness in a healthy life prepared by the researcher in the classroom environment, the second test result values were taken to determine the principles of first aid and the level of awareness in a healthy life after the six-week training process. To determine the impact of the training that the staff participating in the first aid project received before and after the project, the Paired Samples t test was applied to study the relationship between the first test and the final test, the age and mandate periods and the knowledge level of the first aid principles in healthy life. The difference between the points obtained before and after the project is interpreted according to the level of meaning p. .050. As a result, the training in the first aid project process has a positive impact on the level of informing the staff about the first aid. As the last test values of the first aid project are increasing the age and mandate periods, the result is that the level of knowledge of the first aid principles in a healthy life is also increased. In particular, the need for training such as healthy life and first aid information is important because the staff in the institutions that are in close relationship with people, such as military, security and health, faces first aid application situations.
The purpose of the study: Is to determine the first aid principles and awareness levels for a healthy life of the officers who work at Erzurum Provincial Gendarmerie Command Headquarters and to determine the impact of the training process implemented within the scope of the project. The research was conducted on a total of 35 ranking personnel, 3 women and 32 men, who work at Erzurum Provincial Gendarmerie Command Headquarters in 2019. The test, prepared by the researcher, was applied to the individuals in the classroom environment to determine the first aid principles and awareness levels for healthy life and the second test result values were taken to determine the first aid principles and awareness level for healthy life after the six-week training period. The Paired Samples t test was applied before and after the project in order to determine the impact of the training of the personnel participating in the first aid project, the correlation analysis test was applied to examine the relationship between pre-test and the post-test of age - tenure and the knowledge level relationship regarding the first aid principles in healthy life. The difference between the scores obtained before and after the project is interpreted according to the p; ,050 significance level. As a result, it was concluded that the training provided during the first aid project had a positive effect on the level of officer’s awareness of first aid. It was found that in the last test values of the officers participating in the first aid project, first aid principles and the level of knowledge for a healthy life increased in parallel with the increase in age and tenure. Since the officers who work in institutions that are in close contact with people such as military, security and health are faced with first aid practices, it is important to provide similar trainings regarding a healthy lifestyle and first aid instructions.
