Tüm insanlık tarihi incelenecek olursa belirli bir bölgede yaşanmış da olsa önemli olayların, bütün dünya insanlığı için siyasal, ekonomik ve sosyolojik değişimlere neden olduğu görülebilmektedir. Dünyanın neresinde olursa olsun yaşanan değişimlerin etkilerinin, bir şekilde tüm dünya toplumlarında hissedildiği anlaşılmaktadır. Bu olaylar içerisinde en önemlilerinin ise devrimler olduğu görülmektedir. Kelime anlamı itibari ile bir doğa olayını ifade eden devrim, siyasal anlamı ile de karşı konulamaz bir değişimi simgelemektedir. Ekonomik boyutları ile Sanayi Devrimi, siyasal yönleri ile Fransız İhtilali, kapsamı ve politik yönleri ile Ekim 1917 Rus Devrimi ve çeşitli siyasal yönleri ile dünya toplumlarını etkileyen Amerikan Devrimi, dünya insanlığını en çok etkileyen devrimlerin başında gelmektedirler. Esasında devrimler başlangıcı, gelişimi ve sonuçları itibari ile ayrı ayrı politik ve sosyolojik fenomenler olarak ele alınabilmektedir. Ayrıca tüm devrimlerin, bir temel özne üzerine geliştiği ve ‘‘öteki’’sinin olduğu da anlaşılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada dünya insanlığı için önemli değişimlere neden olan Fransız İhtilali ve Ekim 1917 Rus Devrimi, ‘‘vurucu güçü’’ yani temel aktörleri üzerinden analiz edilecektir. İki farklı devrimin temel aktörlerinin siyasal, ekonomik ve kültürel rolleri üzerinden bir karşılaştırma yapılacaktır. En nihayetinde her iki ülkede, günümüze geldiğimizde devrimin ‘‘vurucu gücü’’ olan aktörlerinin etkisinin sınırları anlaşılmaya çalışılacaktır.
If the entire history of humanity is analyzed, it can be seen that important events, even if they have taken place in a certain region, have caused political, economic, and sociological changes for the whole world of humanity. It is understood that the changes taking place anywhere in the world are somehow felt in all societies around the world. Among these events, revolutions are the most important. Revolution, which literally means a natural event, also symbolizes an irresistible change in its political meaning. The Industrial Revolution with its economic dimensions, the French Revolution with its political aspects, the Russian Revolution of October 1917 with its scope and political aspects, and the American Revolution, which affected societies around the world with its various political aspects, are among the revolutions that have affected humanity the most. In fact, revolutions can be considered separate political and sociological phenomena in terms of their inception, development, and consequences. It is also understood that all revolutions develop on a basic subject and have an "other." In this study, the French Revolution and the Russian Revolution of October 1917, which caused significant changes for the world's humanity, will be analyzed through their "striking forces," that is, their main actors. A comparison will be made on the political, economic and cultural roles of the main actors of the two different revolutions. Finally, the limits of the influence of the actors who are the "striking force" of the revolution in both countries will try to be understood.
