In this study, the decision criteria used in hot air balloon pilot selection and the most suitable personnel alternative to these criteria were tried to be determined by Multi-Criteria Decision Making Methods. For this purpose, CRITIC and MAIRCA were preferred among MCDM methods. The decision criteria obtained in line with the literature review expert academician suggestions and the provisions of the relevant legislation were applied according to the hot air balloon management criteria that accepted the meeting in Cappadocia. First of all, the weights of the decision criteria were calculated with the CRITIC method. Accordingly, the most important criterion was foreign language knowledge, followed by reference proficiency and communication ability criteria. Afterwards, it was determined that the candidate with the A1 code had the best practice results among the twelve personnel alternatives with the MAIRCA method. The findings obtained as a result of objective methods have been suggested to different enterprises to be used in personnel selection.
