Abstract Turkish culinary culture has always been kept in the foreground as it is an old and rooted cuisine. This has become the focus of the attention of foreign tourists and they have the opportunity to taste food and drinks from Turkish cuisine during their tours and holidays. In this direction, the aim of the research is to determine the opinions of foreign tourists visiting the Ayvalık region after tasting the food and beverages of Turkish cuisine culture during their stay. In this study, firstly, a literature study was made and the elements that have an important role in gastronomy tourism were included. Research data were collected between April-May 2022 using the face-to-face survey technique. In the study, the data obtained in the study conducted to determine the views and tendencies of the foreign tourists staying in the Ayvalık region regarding the Turkish cuisine culture, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, average values of the scales, one-way analysis of variance and t-tests were performed and the findings were revealed. As a result of the analyzes made; A significant difference was found between the gender of the foreign tourists staying and their views on Turkish cuisine, "appearance", one of the sub-dimensions. It was found that there was a significant difference between the ages of the participants and the dimensions of appearance, taste, price-performance.
