Abstract:

Bu araştırma, İslam Bilim ve Teknoloji Tarihi Müzesindeki (İBTTM) eserlerin Fizik öğretim programı ve ders kitapları açısından incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Durum çalışması tercih edilen araştırmanın örneklemini müzenin “Optik”, “Fizik ve Teknik” bölümlerinde bulunan 17 eser oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın verileri araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan ve uzman görüşü alınan şablondan, araştırmacının müze gezisi sırasında çektiği fotoğraflar, videolar, basılı/ online broşür ve kitaplardan toplanmış olup içerik analizi ile analiz edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerden müzedeki 17 eserin Fizik öğretim programı ve ders kitapları ile uyumlu olduğu ve alan yazında tespit edilen bazı kavram yanılgılarını giderebilecek niteliğe sahip olduğu söylenebilir. Bu bağlamda müzedeki 17 eserin Fizik öğretim programı ve ders kitaplarına eklenmesi önerilmektedir.

Examination Of The Artefacts In The History Of Islam Science and Technology Museum In Terms Of The Physics Curriculum and Textbooks

Abstract:

This research was carried out to examine the artefacts in the History of Islam Science and Technology Museum in terms of the Physics curriculum and textbooks. The sample of the research, in which case study is preferred, consists of 17 artefacts in the "Optics", "Physics and Techniques" sections of the museum. The data of the research were collected from the templates prepared by the researchers and expert opinion, the photographs and videos taken by the researcher during the museum tour, and the printed/online brochures and books she collected and analysed by content analysis. From the analysis of the data, it was determined that 17 artefacts in the museum were compatible with the Physics curriculum and textbooks. In addition, it can say that the artefacts have the quality to eliminate some of the misconceptions found in the literature and in the ninth-grade science high school textbook. These reasons, it is recommended that the artefacts in the museum be added to the physics curriculum and textbooks.
